Leadership

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.

The theme of Leadership, as defined by the above quote, easily fits many of the courses in the MSET program.  However, I have chosen to limit the theme by attempting to demonstrate some of the ways in which I have become a better leader in my school as a result of the program. Through the MSET courses, I have gained confidence in working with fellow teachers and administrators in technology-related situations.  I feel this program has helped me gain the knowledge, skills, and the ability to become a leader in my school district. I will need to keep current with trends in computer education, distance education, and technology, in general.  I will lead by example, and hopefully become an influence, not only to my coworkers, but also to my own children, as well as the students in my school.  So in this way, I wish "to inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more."
