Course Reflections
Before taking them, CET 751 and CET 753 were the two courses that I feared the most, but they proved to be among the most enjoyable. I had very little, if any, experience with hardware and networking prior to taking these courses. In CET 751 we took apart computers, put them back together, added software and hardware, and created a small computer network. Working with the components inside the computer made me less afraid of damaging the parts inside, and learning the function of each component made me more comfortable upgrading computers. After I finish my coursework, I plan to install a CD burner into my computer. Before completing this course, I would never have attempted such a task.
