Technology Goals

Goal 1: The White Lake School District will provide an infrastructure that will stay current with the needs of the students, staff, and community by

· Continuing to supplement our present quality computers on a three-year rotating basis until we have one computer for every two students;

· Maintaining and upgrading the current hub room, server, and wiring reaching each individual classroom; and

· Obtaining on a regular basis, tutorial, supplemental, and operating software to enhance each subject matter.

Goal 2: The White Lake School District will provide staff training on the use of technology.

· Time will be provided for an in-service presented by the technology committee. In-service will include integrating technology into the content standards: health, science, math, language arts, social studies, and industrial arts.

· TTL and DTL Academies will be provided for classroom teachers, administrators, and network administrators funded by the LOFTI Grant and State of South Dakota.

· All teachers, within one year, will be competent in using technology and integrating it into their classes.
